In an effort to counter Reliance Jio, Airtel has launched some effective plans for its pre-paid customers. With Reliance already extending its Jio Welcome offer providing free voice calls, data, text messages and other services free by another 3 months for its customers, the competition from the incumbent operators is gearing up.
Under the new prepaid plans, you will be able to make free calls anywhere in India, and will be rewarded some data benefits too.
Rs 348 prepaid pack by Airtel
It allows a pre-paid customer to make free voice calls, both local and STD, to any network in India along with 1GB of 4G data. The pack is valid for 28 days.
Rs 145 prepaid pack by Airtel (A2A only)
It provides customers unlimited calls across India, but ONLY to other Airtel users. This pack comes with 300MB of data for 4G-ready smartphones, and 50MB of data for basic mobile phones that can access the Internet and light social media apps.
