2016 Moto devices to come with fingerprint support

We would like to remind you all that Motorola was the first company that tried fingerprint scanner in a phone with it’s Atrix 4G phone. IT was launched back i 2011 when no other company was even thinking about embedding fingerprint scanners into a smartphone. But after that company never tried fingerprint scanner because that wasn’t successful at that time. Since then we haven’t seen any smartphone fro Motorola sporting a fingerprint scanner with it. But this all will be changed in 2016 when all the Motorola devices will some with fingerprint scanner support. Now it has been confirmed by the SVP and President for China & Asia Pacific of Lenovo  Mr. Chen Xudong. He also said that company has announced a special partnership with Google for 3D smartphones named project Tango. These future phones will be launched in next year.

“During CES Lenovo and Google also announced a collaboration in 3D sensing technology Project Tango, first released by the association to the technology.”

He also confirmed that this year Motorola won’t launch any smartphone below 5 inch screen size.SO 5 inch will b minimum from Motorola. When asked about Moto phones lacking fingerprint capability he expressed his surprise  by saying that he doesn’t understand this strategy & was surprised with it. He also confirmed that 2016 Moto product will feature fingerprint scanner in it. He also commented about the design of Moto handsets but the company will be tweaking to make it even better & with fingerprint scanner, the Moto phones will be more secure.

He also said all the manufacturers are now paying attention to the design of a phone with all the phones around 600-700 Yuan are having mostly metal inspired body.He also noted some benefits of non-metal phones.  He said that company will launch a motorcycle related UI that will be revolutionary in itself. He said that Lenovo’s Vibe UI & Motorcycle UI from Motorola will see a merger in 2017 which will be the fastest & best UI in the world.

The company will also focus on quality instead of quantity & will reduce some phone models . They have already reduced the n. of phone models in the industry. The Motorcycle Dual-Brand phones should not reach more than 15 in a year. So it will be interesting to see such phones from both the company working together with a totally new UI also.
