A new build of Android 7.1.1 (NMF26Q) is dropped for for Google Pixel and Pixel XL

Android Nougat

Google has pushed a new build of Android Nougat for it’s flagship devices i.e. the Google Pixel and Pixel XL. The build comes with Android Nougat 7.1.1 .

The latest build for Google Pixel and Pixel XL has firmware number NMF26Q . This is a unified build for North America, Europe and Verizon users. There isn’t anything mentioned as official changelog for the update. UK carrier O2 has to say something about the update. It says, ” Remove spaces in front of APN types so that telephony can find APNs that can handle a particular type properly.”

So we can say that this update is just some connectivity fixes and performance improvements over the previous one. Last time on December 5th , the company released a build of Android Nougat named NFM26O.
