Today official Alcatel Facebook account revealed in comments that Android 6.0 Marshmallow for Alcatel OneTouch Idol 3 (5.5) will be available beginning end of May. The final release date will vary depending on the variants or operators’ schedule.
Alcatel OneTouch Idol 3 (5.5) is powered by 1GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor and it comes with 2GB RAM on board. The phone comes with 16GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 128GB via a microSD.
Android 6.0 comes with new features like Google Now On Tap, smart Battery Management Doze, monthly securities patches as well.
