Sony has finally started the roll out of Android 7.0 Nougat for Xperia X and X compact smartphones. If you own any of the mentioned handsets, your wait ends here.
The new update weighing in at around 1300 MB, pushes the build number to version 34.2.A.0.266 and it is specifically for the Xperia X (F5121), Xperia X Dual (F5122), and Xperia X Compact (F5321) model.
As per the reports, the update is live across select regions such as Australia, Latin America, Middle East, Russia, Turkey, Thailand and Vietnam but we are receiving tips that some users in India, too, are receiving the update notifications on their handsets which is quite surprising.
Nevertheless, download the update but don’t forget to connect your device to WiFi, first.
