Apple iOS 9.2.1 released with security & MDM fixes

Apple releases a major update to it’s iOS 9 back in December with version number bumped to 9.2. Now the company has released another update to the OS which further increases the version number to 9.2.1 . Apple started testing iOS 9.2.1 just after the release of iOS 9.2 . It is rather a minor update bu fifth since the launch of iOS 9.First update we got to the iOS 9 was iOS 9.0.1 then we got 9.0.2 & then it was 9.1 which was again succeeded by iOS 9.2 . Now today company starting rolling out iOS 9.2.1 OTA update to the customers around the globe. You can download it through OTA or through iTunes   using your PC.

The official changelog notes “This update contains security updates and bug fixes including a fix for an issue that could prevent the completion of app installation when using an MDM server.”

After this update, it is still unclear if Apple was successful in resolving the battery indicator bug in iOS 9.2 which was showing wrong battery percentage & sometimes was even failing to show the actual percentage of the battery.
