New Asus smartphone (X00ID) leaks on GFXBench with Snapdragon 430 SoC and Android 7.1.1

ASUS X00ID

A new ASUS smartphone recently popped up on GFXBench giving us a closer look at the device internals and the software version. Codenamed ASUS X00ID, the device seems to be a mid-ranger and is powered by the Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 CPU (Adreno 505) ticking at 1.4GHz backed by 3GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage.

As far as the screen is concerned, it has a 5.5 inch 720p display and the phone itself runs on the latest Android 7.1.1 Nougat update.

One interesting take from the benchmark report is that the ASUS X00ID comes with a Dual-rear camera set up. One camera being the 13MP and the other is 5MP. The bigger one (13MP) is capable of 4K videos whereas the smaller one (5MP) can capture Full HD videos at 1080p.

There is also a 8MP front facing camera which is also capable of Full HD shoots at 1080p.

As per the specs, the device seems to deliver a promising and long-lasting performance. Let us wait and see when and how the device comes to the market and how it fares against the competition.
