Asus introduced the Zenfone AR back in January this year. The Asus Zenfone AR is one of the first Tango and Google Daydream enabled devices in the world.
Now the company is readying to introduce the Zenfone AR smartphone to Indian users. The Asus Zenfone AR India launch is scheduled for 13th July.
Coming to the specifications, the Asus Zenfone AR comes with 5.7-inch QHD(2560x1440p) display with super AMOLED panel. The Asus Zenfone AR comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 4 on the top. It has world’s first 8GB of LPDDR4 RAM. There is actually 6GB and 8GB of RAM variants. We have 32GB/64GB/128GB and 256GB of internal storage variants based on UFS 2.0 . There is support for micro SD card also. In terms of processing power, the Asus Zenfone AR has 2.35GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 chipset in it. It also gets 23MP rear camera with dual-tone LED Flash,4-axis OIS, 3-axis EIS and Laser Auto focus. On the front, it has 8MP camera. Fingerprint scanner is located at the front.
The Asus Zenfone AR is world’s 2nd Tango based smartphone as first was Lenovo Phab 2 Pro. It has a main camera with a motion tracking camera and a depth sensing camera that supports AR capabilities of Google Tango. The phone also comes with Android Nougat and bring Google Daydream support along with it.
