Asus Zenfone Max gets Android Marshmallow update

Asus has released the Android Marshmallow update for the Asus Zenfone 2 Laser & Asus Zenfone Max at one go.

The new Android Marshmallow update brings the firmware version no. to v13.8.26.31. The update comes in stages which will be available in stages to everyone. In order to get this update on your device, juat go to Settings> About> System Update & here check for update. The update comes to the Asus Zenfone Max (ZC550KL) .

What’s New:

 

  • Software update to Android 6.0 Mashmallow
  • Removed Asus Email, Asus Calendar, Asus Messaging & won’t br preload in this software version. You can use Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Messenger for relevant services.
  • Android Marshmallow won’t support APP2SD. Please move apps to internal storage before system upgrades.
