Samsung Galaxy S8 is the hottest phone nowadays and most awaited also. It is because Samsung had failed in its last flagship attempt of 2016 which was the Samsung Galaxy Note 7.
We have already seen many leaks about the Samsung Galaxy S8 smartphone. The company had already confirmed that Samsung Galaxy S8 won’t be announced at MWC 2017. The actual launch of Samsung Galaxy S8 is scheduled to happen on 29th March which is more than a month later than expected.
Now we have got a new real life image of Samsung Galaxy S8 which seems to be an Edge variant. If we talk about the leaked image of Samsung Galaxy S8, it is clear that the Samsung Galaxy S8 comes with a curved display on the front side. It has a design inspired by Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge and Galaxy Note 7. There is now button at the front side. Camera module is located at the back with nearly no bump. It has dual tone LED flash and heart rate sensor just coupled with the rear camera. Other than this, we get a differently located fingerprint scanner in the Samsung Galaxy S8. The fingerprint scanner in Samsung Galaxy S8 is just adjacent to the camera module. USB Type-C port is present at the bottom and Yes! It does come with 3.5mm headphone jack. Primary microphone is also located at the bottom.
Now if we talk about the specifications, the Samsung Galaxy S8 will come in two variants, one with 5.8-inch QHD Super AMOLED display and another is 6.2-inch QHD Super AMOLED display. The Samsung Galaxy S8 will also come with a slight different aspect ratio which is 18.5:9 . Both the variants have curved Edge display with 83% of screen to body ratio. Both the variants will come with either an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset or a newer Samsung Exynos chipset depending upon the region. It will come with 3000mAh and 3500mAh battery sizes for both the devices. There will be 4GB of RAM and 64GB of base Storage options with support for micro SD card. There will be 12MP rear shooter with F/1.7 lens. On the front, it will come with 8MP snapper. There will be an iris scanner present at the front. There will be Microsoft Continuum like feature in the Samsung Galaxy S8 and is will be called as the Samsung DeX.
