The company Ringing Bells behind the cheapest smartphone ever the Freedom 251 has now said that the smartphone will be delivered to buyers or those who expressed interest starting June 28.
Deliveries will start to customers who have registered for buying the phone, Noida-based company’s director Mohit Goel said.
“We will start shipment of Freedom 251 from June 28 to customers who paid for it earlier on COD (cash-on-delivery) basis,” he told .
The company has even refunded the pre-payment made money to users’ accounts & later they decided to go for the cash on delivery method of payment.Company also confirmed that they won’t be able o manufacture first few units in India due to timing issues & raw material availability. So first 50 Lakh of units will be imported in order to meet the demand for the phone.
