Samsung released its latest flagship smartphone Galaxy Note 7 with much fanfare and it is proving to be very popular. Galaxy Note 7 comes with a 12 MP rear camera with features like Dual Pixel, phase detection autofocus, OIS. The rear camera has sensor size of 1/2.6″ and f/1.7 aperture size.

So, here we will compare Galaxy Note 7 cameras with the best that Apple has to offer. We will see how Note 7 cameras compare to iPhone 6S Plus cameras in a YouTube video posted by channel “AskTheAndroidGuy”.

Here is what we observed,

  • Galaxy Note 7 rear camera captures images with more details as compared to the iPhone 6S Plus rear camera. The difference is significant.
  • All the samples here have been captured in low-light conditions. In low-light conditions Note 7 camera gathers more light and also keeps color more accurate. A clear winner here!!
  • In case of front cameras you can notice more details in Note 7 selfies, while iPhone 6S Plus keeps better white balance.
