Gmail app for Android got an small update today in the Google Play Store but there wasn’t anything exciting in this update.
Now the company is working on another new cool feature for the Gmail app. But this cool feature will be available with Android Nougat. The new feature us called ‘Drag and Drop’ . With this feature, we can just drag & drop any attachment from our file manager to Gmail and it’ll b attached. The new feature doesn’t come with the latest update but there is a string code which confirms that this feature is under work.
<string name=”drag_n_drop_target_text”> Drop files here </string>
It is very much legit to believe tht this could be really as Google is adding multi window support to Android with Android Nougat. So we can see more & more apps to get multi window support & there will be much more features coming. So Google should be the first to bring new features from their apps so the other developers get inspired with this.
