We have seen several leaks about upcoming smartphones from Google. There are two devices in pipeline from Google. These two devices are codenamed Sailfish and Marlin.

Now we have new news to share about the ‘Nexus’ branding from Google. The news comes about Google Nexus smartphones. It saysthat the company will be ditching the Nexus branding from uts upcoming smartphones. We have already seen the Nexus Marlin and Sailfish with no ‘Nexus’ branding on them. These devices had the ‘G’ logo of Google which means that the upcoming device from Google will have Google branding instead of Nexus brand. We are not sure if the Nexus brand us totally dead or not.

The first Nexus device was launched back in 2009 with HTC made Nexus One smartphone. The Nexus devices were launched last in 2015 as the Nexus 6P & Nexus 5X. The upcoming devices will be made by HTC but won’t be having any branding of HTC and will come with just Google branding.
