Huawei’s sub brand Honor has recently announced the Honor 6X smartphone in India. It was officially unveiled at CES this year.
The Honor 6X was launched with Android Marshmallow 6.0.1. All the Huawei and Honor smartphones come with their own skin on top of Android called EMUI (Emotion UI) . The Honor 6X was launched with EMUI 4 which is based on Android Marshmallow.
Now there is a confirmation from Huawei about the Android Nougat update for the Honor 6X. The company has confirmed that the Android Nougat update for Honor is coming in March. It says, ” The new EMUI for Honor 6X will be arriving next month, and it’s been updated based on consumer feedback. In case you or your team is planning a full review any time soon, it might be worthwhile to wait!”
So this also means that the Android Nougat update to Honor 6x will bring some more improved features and performance is also expected to improve.
