Last week we reported HTC One M8 getting Marshmallow update in Honkong . Earlier it was rolling out in many other countries like UK, Germany and some carriers like Sprint & T-Mobile in the US. Now it is reported that HTC One M8 users in Asia are also getting Marshmallow update.

According to a user on Twitter, he got an update on his device of Android Marshmallow. The size of this update was about 1.14GB . The software version has also been changed to 6.14.707.1 .
You can expect these changes after update :
- System update to Android 6.0 Marshmallow
- App permissions: lets you define what you want to share and turn permission off any time.
- Now on Tap: gives you access to additional information whilst on your active screen.
- Smarter power management: Doze, a battery optimization feature.
- Android Security update: improving device on board security.
