HTC launched it’s flagship HTC One M8 back in 2014.It was well received among users around the globe. The phone was launched with HTC’s Sense UI 6.0 on top of Android Kitkat 4.4.2 . This device was updated to Android Lollipop. Now we all know that company has future plans for Marshmallow roll out to this phone probably based on Sense 7.0. But as we all know that the device runs Android which offer great customization options that include easily changing of it’s Stock ROM with another custom ROM of users’ own choice.
Now there is some good news for One M8 users because it seems Android 6.0 Marshmallow update for One M8 may be heading soon to devices in Europe . A well-known HTC Insider ‘LlabTooFeR’ on XDA Forum has shared this info and has also shared the OS versions that is supposed to roll-out.
HTC One M8 EU soon can expect Android 6.0. ROM version will be 6.12.401.4_R (Update will notify about 6.12.401.4 availability).

This clearly says the EU version of the phone is ready for the good news. They have also told about the exact version of the ROM that is to be available. Users will be notified through this channel when the update is available to download.
