KantarWorldpanel has revealed some Apple related stats for the month of October in their recent tweets. This is important as October is the first month with full month wide availability of iPhone 5S and 5C. There is some good news from Japan, where iPhone sales has claimed 76% of all Japanese smartphone sales share for the month of October. At carrier NTT DoCoMo it has claimed 61% of sales share.

Another tweet reveals that iPhone 5S sales have been 40% more than iPhone 5c sales in the month of October, while it had been expected to be the opposite case with more pocket-friendly pricing of iPhone 5C.

KWP will show its full report on December 2nd and it will let us know how well Apple has recovered from market share losses seen in Q3.
