Qualcomm, the number one chipset maker for mobile handsets has already announced their next generation of chipset for flagship devices of 2017. The next Qualcomm chipset is launched as the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835.
The Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 is an Octa-Core chipset, as per the recent leaks. There is a new chart leaked which suggests that the upcoming Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 is an octa-core one. The upcoming chipset is compared against the Qualcomm Snapdragon 660. Th chart reveals that the upcoming chipset has 8 cores rather than 4. Current flagship chipsets have 4 cores & that include the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 and Snapdragon 821. It is Kryo 200 CPU with 4+4 architecture. The GPU used in Snapdragon 835 is also upgraded to Adreno 540. It is manufactured on 10nm manufacturing process. The chipset can comply 1.8GHz of 4 LPDDR4 RAMs into it. It also uses the latest UFS 2.1 storage method instead of UFS 2.0 . The chipset is expected to be official in Q1 of 2017.
