Xiaomi launched the Xiaomi Redmi Pro smartphone back in 2016. It was the most premium Redmi smartphone from Xiaomi. It was also th first Redmi phone with dual camera setup at the rear side.
Now we have some leaked information that suggests that the Xiaomi is working on a new successor to the Xiaomi Redmi Pro. The official successor to Xiaomi Redmi Pro will be called the Xiaomi Redmi Pro 2. We have got a new leaked image of the Xiaomi Redmi Pro 2 with some of the specifications listed in Chinese. The Xiaomi Redmi Pro 2 comes with 4GB and 6GB of RAM options. It has 64GB or 128GB of internal storage variants depending upon the RAM models. It has a new single 12MP Sony IMX362 camera sensor on the back. While the original Xiaomi Redmi Pro has dual camera setup at the back but Xiaomi opted for a single sensor at the back of the successor. There will be huge 4500mAh battery. Looks like Xiaomi is focussing very much on the battery power nowadays. The above attached image shows the Xiaomi Redmi Pro 2 also. It has a larger display than the predecessor. The display will be bigger in size with narrowed bezels. The fingerprint scanner is located at the back with Asus Zenfone 3 like shape.
