LG G5 is now getting Android Nougat update in Korea

LG has now finally released the Android Nougat 7.0 update to it’s current flagship device which is the LG G5.

With the Android Nougat update, the LG G5 becomes first non-Nexus device to get Android Nougat update. The company already has crown for releasing the very first Android Nougat based smartphone. The company claimed this title with the release of LG V20.

Some new features of Android Nougat include Multi window support, Seamless update, much improved Doze mode, New emojis from Unicode 9 and finally stock Android too has got the ‘Clear all’ buttons for apps.

Kim Hyung-jung, senior vice president, LG Mobile’s research and development said in an official statement, “At LG, we know our customers want the best, most up-to-date mobile experience. Getting software updates to our users faster than the competition is our way of demonstrating that LG is committed to supporting our products and customers to ensure they have a positive ownership experience.
