LG G6 gets first software update on Verizon with latest security patches and more

LG introduced the LG G6 smartphone back in February at MWC 2017. The LG G6 was introduced with Android Nougat 7 out of the box.

Now US based network provider Verizon has released an update to the LG G6. This upcoming update is the very first update to the device since it’s​release. The software version coming with this update is VS98811A for the LG G6 on Verizon.

Changes coming with this build includes the latest security patches from Google, new instructions to protect your SIM and notification for charging port.
