LG V20 to be the first to carry a 32-bit Quad DAC chip

LG has officially announced the launch date for the upcoming LG V20. The LG V20 will bw coming with Android Nougat out of the box.

Now the company has confirmed one more detail about the upcoming LG V20. It is about the audio chipset being used in it. The upcoming LG V20 will be equipped with a 32bit quad DAC Chip. The DAC stands for Digital to Analog converter which converts the digital audio to Analog one so it becomes easy to hear. As pee the company, the smartphone “delivers a crisp and clear sound that comes closest to a live performance.” When connected a headphone to it. With this chipset being used, the LG V20 will produce 50% less ambient noise.

Higher quality audio is simply the natural evolution of the smartphone, as the industry moves toward a more holistic multimedia consumption experience. We’re pleased to continue this long-term partnership with ESS and bring best in class audio to LG V20 users”
