MediaTek unveils Deca-core Helio X30 Processor

Mediatek X30 is not expected to power mobile devices until next year, but as per the confirmation from the semiconductor manufacturing firm, manufacturing process has started for Mediatek Helio X30 in 10 nm format.

According to the reports, X30 will have two A73 cores, which will be clocked at 2.8 GHz. It will also have four A53 cores, which is possibly clocked at 2.2 GHz, and four economy Cortex-A35 cores that will run at 2.0 GHz.

The SoC will sport cameras sensors of up to 40 MP with video capture at 24 fps video. The X30 will also support 16MP camera at up to 60 fps video and 8MP shooters at up to 120 fps.

The upcoming SoC will support up to 8GB of RAM, and in graphic section, it will have PowerVR 7XT.
