Microsoft Edge now comes to iOS and Android Platforms as preview

Microsoft Edge is the default browser present in Windows 10 OS for PC as well as Mobile. Users choosing Windows 10 Mobile OS get the Microsoft Edge browser as default browser in their phones.

Now the company is releasing the Microsoft Edge browser to two different mobile operating systems. The Edge browser is coming to iOS and Android devices now. Currently the browser is in beta stage and available for preview version to developers.

The reason for releasing the Edge browser for iOS and Android is users asking for it. The company said in an statement that users say “we want our browser experience to move to our phones”.

The Microsoft Edge browser brings all the major features like your Favorites, Reading List, New Tab Page and Reading View across your PC and phone. It will also let you continue that browsing on your PC that you’ve left on your phone. So this is something very interesting to see from Microsoft.

Currently, the Microsoft Edge browser preview is available in English (US) only but the company is committed to add
more and more languages to it.  Support for iOS and Android tablets is also not available as of now and that will be added at a better time as the company wants this project to be totally live.
