Now it turns out to be true as the Midnight Blue color variant of Motorola Moto G5 Plus is now officially listed in the US. It is also clearly mentioned that the Midnight Blue color variant will only be available for users in Latin America. It is listed as Midnight Blue (LATAM only) on the US website.
All the specifications remain the same as originalMotorola Moto G5 Plus.
