Motorola unveiled the Moto M smartphone in India back in 2016. The Moto M was first smartphone from the company to come with a MediaTek chipset. It came with model number XT1662.
But now we have a new listing on GFXbench for the Motorola Moto XT1662. The latest listing shows some different specifications for the Moto M. The original Motorola Moto M came with 5.4-inch full HD display whereas the latest listing shows a 4.6-inch smartphone with full HD display. The original Moto M has 3GB of RAM and MediaTek Helio P15 SoC. But the new listing reveals two chipsets , the Helio P10(MT6755) and Helio P15(MT6755T) SoC. The RAM has also been change to 4GB instead of 3GB.
What this means that Motorola Moto M was available only in India till now. So this smaller sizes Moto M could be the one headed to some other markets.
