A new Alcatel smartphone for Verizon visits GFXbench

Recently we reported about Alcatel Flash smartphone which was silently introduced by the company as a smartphone with dual camera setup on the rear as well as on the front.

Now it seems like the OEM is working on another smartphone but it seems to be a budget smartphone. A new smartphone from Alcatel is headed to Verizon. But before landing on to Verizon, it visits GFXbench for benchmarking test.

As per the GFXbench listing, the Alcatel smartphone is listed as Alcatel 5049. It has got 4.6-inch HD (1280x720p) display. Powering the device is an Octa-Core MediaTek 6738 SoC. To keep things running smoothly, the company has thrown out a 2GB of RAM in it. For 2GB of RAM, we get 16GB of internal storage.

In the photography department, we have got 13MP of main camera with LED flash. It has also got a 5MP camera sensor on the front.
