Recently Samsung teased a new chipset with ‘9’ series. The upcoming Samsung Exynos chipset is said to be a flagship product and will be powering the Samsung Galaxy S8.
Now we have got some more information to share with you on that. A new LinkedIn listing shows that the next Samsung Exynos chipset will be called the Samsung Exynos 9810. An intern in Samsung Electronics named Rajhbhan Kushwaha has listed the Exynos 9810 in his profile as one of the project he is currently working on. He has started working on 5his project since July 2016.
His profile says, ” Exynos is a series of ARM-based System-on-Chips (SoCs) developed and manufactured by Samsung Electronics
Worked on BUS verification(AXI, APB, AHB, ACE, ASB, P-ACE, cp-Ace, mp-Ace bus Protocols), verified timeout, bus logger and unmapped address access, ,TZPC verification, Automate the generation of the tzpc sequences for secure and nonsecure block based on system register info, Create and execute testcases as per the test plan using EDA tools ensuring complete coverage of a feature , Using functional coverage and code coverage as a criteria for closing the verification , Automation of unmapped address segment test scenario for this project based on SFR address, Performance number collection automation.”
The Samsung Exynos 9810 is said to use the same 10nm FinFET technology as the Snapdragon 835.
