Yesterday we provided you the details of Android update availability on several Nexus branded devices from Google.
Now if we take a look at the product update page it is quite clear that the Nexus 5 is not in the list of update for Android N. The guaranteed update date for the Nexus 10 is given as November 2014 which means that the Nexus 10 won’t get any further Android updates from Google. Now if we talk about the Nexus 7 (2013) variant, it will also not get any update in future as it’s update cycle expired in July 2015.
Now finally we will discuss about the most suspected device which is the Nexus 5, the last update listed for Nexus 5 is October 2015 which means that it was eligible for the Android M update last year but as the Android N is coming this September-October time frame, so the Nexus 5 won’t fit in that time frame.
That;’s a sad news for Nexus 5 owners but we have to accept the truth.
