T-Mobile has now started pushing the Android Nougat update. The latest Android Nougat update comes with Android V7.1.1 .
It comes with latest security updates which will be December last security patches. The update has a size of 52MB in total. On company’s website, the update date listed is 16th December. So we didn’t know if the actual date was 16th or it’s today.
In order to get the update, follow the below given steps,
- From the Home screen, tap All Apps.
- Tap Settings.
- Tap About device.
- Tap Software update.
- If you are not connected to Wi-Fi, you may receive a prompt to connect.
- If Wi-Fi is not available, tap OK.
If the update is not available, you will receive the message “The device is up-to-date.” If you receive this message, wait for your device to receive the update via OTA.
Follow the on-screen prompts.
