OnePlus 2 gets Oxygen OS 3.5.6 with fix for the network drop issue

OnePlus has released Android Nougat update to the OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T smartphones. This is a new year gift from the company.

Now the company has released a new update to the last year’s flagship device i.e. the OnePlus 2. The company had released Oxygen OS 3.5.5 last week with 4G VoLTE connectivity to the device. The Oxygen OS 3.5.5 brought many other features also. It resembles the merger of Oxygen OS and Hydrogen OS. The whole them8has been changed. There are new apps also. The company has replaced some of the Google apps with it’s own apps.

The current Update has version number as Oxygen OS 3.5.6 . The update is very incremental update. The Update fixes the issue where users were reporting random network drop issue after the Oxygen OS 3.5.5 Update.  The company hasn’t been able to fix the issue of IMEI lost.

Changelog:

  • Fixed persistent network drops

Important note :-  For users who are affected by the IMEI loss issue, we are still drafting a plan to resolve this. Please be patient while we fix this.
