Oneplus 3/3T gets OxygenOS Open Beta 3 based on Android Nougat 7.1.1

OnePlus has now released a new build of Oxygen OS beta. Recently we reported about the beta build of Hydrogen OS for OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3/3T but that was available to China only because Hydrogen OS is a ROM that comes to China.

The latest build of Oxygen OS comes as Oxygen OS Open Beta 3 for Oneplus 3T and Oxygen OS Open Beta 12 for Oneplus 3 . It is based on Android Nougat 7.1.1 . The company had already released the Android Nougat 7.9 update for public devices sans beta program. OxygenOS Open Beta 3/ Open Beta 12 bring many notable and important changes/ improvements to the Oneplus 3T.   • Upgraded to Android 7.1.1
  • New Shot on OnePlus wallpaper option
  • Gallery Improvements
    1. New photo editor with watermark and 2. Photo straightening options
    3. Newly added media will be highlighted in Photos section
    4. Image location will be displayed on grid view
    5. Media can be grouped by month and year
    6. Folders and individual media can be hidden
  • General bug fixes

Known issues:

  • Android pay not able to work on London TFL/Tube
    1. This can be resolved by updating the app via Play store
  • Compatability issues with certain third party apps
