OnePlus 5 is the upcoming flagship product from Chinese smartphone maker OnePlus. The company had previously unveiled OnePlus On, OnePlus 2, OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T smartphones as flagship products for different years.
Yesterday we reported about the official press render of OnePlus 5 showing the device from the back side with dual camera setup. It was also confirmed that the upcoming OnePlus 5 will come with 8GB of RAM. This was confirmed with the courtesy of Evan Glass, who digged out the source codes of Amazon India listing of OnePlus 5. OnePlus 5 was leaked previously many times.
The OnePlus 5 was recently leaked in HD render. It was reported that the upcoming OnePlus 5 smartphone will come with a full HD (1920x1080p) display. Recently the company announced a poll about the retail box design of OnePlus 5 in India as well as for Chinese fans. Recently we reported about the official teaser of OnePlus 5 with camera sample. The company had already confirmed that the OnePlus 5 will come with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 835 chipset. Recently we reported that OnePlus’ CEO has confirmed presence of the fingerprint scanner on the front in the upcoming OnePlus 5.
Previously we reported about leaked render that brought us a new design to the OnePlus 5. The upcoming flagship smartphone from OnePlus was leaked before with prototype image. The company had already released its first official teaser also with ‘Hello 5‘ confirming its name. We reported about OnePlus confirming the official name of its next flagship and some expected launch time. The next flagship from the Chinese player will be called OnePlus 5. CEO of OnePlus, Pete Lau had already posted a confusing teaser about company’s next product. The exact model number for OnePlus 5 was also leaked in earlier reports. It was leaked recently in other renders.
Now the OnePlus 5 smartphone has been spotted paying a visit to one of the benchmarking sites Geekbench. And the Geekbench listing just confirms one major aspect of the upcoming OnePlus 5. We have previously reported that the OnePlus 5 will come with 8GB of RAM as per the source code of Amazon India listing. The Geekbench listing just confirms the same. It also says that the OnePlus 5 comes with an Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset in it which is built on 10nm architecture. Android Nougat 7.1.1 is the software version with Oxygen/Hydrogen OS depending on the market.
