OxygenOS 4.5.5 comes to OnePlus 5 with WiFi and voice calling fixes

OnePlus 5 was unveiled globally on 20th June this year. The smartphone is a big hit and has already become one of the most grossing smartphone on Amazon India in a week.

The company has already released two new updates for the OnePlus 5 to bring some improvements and other fixes. The company is now pushing another small OTA update to the OnePlus 5. This update comes as Oxygen OS 4.5.5 . The update of Oxygen OS is based on Android Nougat 7.1.1 . It brings some major fixes and performance improvements to the OnePlus 5. The changes include voice calling improvements, use less battery on voice recording, WiFi signal improvements and much more.

  • Further improvements to Wi-Fi connectivity
  • Improvements for voice calling
  • Voice recording now uses less battery
    Vibration intensity when receiving calls has been decreased

Bug Fixes:

  • Fixed Wi-Fi singal consistently being displayed as weak
  • Fixed certain apps not able to work under IPv6 network settings
  • To restore connectivity to a Windows 10 PC, please turn off USB debugging prior to the upgrade

The Oxygen OS 4.5.5 update for OnePlus 5 comes as OTA and it has a size of 59MB in total.
