Samsung is working at a full pace to launch the Samsung Galaxy S8 smartphone on time which is the MWC time frame but that won’t be possible this year. The main reason behind this is availability of the next gen flagship chipset from Qualcomm.Qualcomm has already introduced the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset but the chipset isn’t yet ready for mass production.
We have already reported that the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S8 will come with many new features as Galaxy Note 7 was a very bad experience for Samsung. The company is bringing it’s own virtual assistant called Samsung Bixby. Samsung has already trademarked the Bixby Vision as it’s own AI for Samsung Galaxy S8.
Now there seems to be some kind of confirmation on this from Samsung. Samsung’s Principal Program Manager has confirmed existence of a new Artificial intelligence with Samsung Galaxy S8. He has biography written on his LinkedIn profile as , ” Shape the decision for new capabilities of Service Management Platform. Drives the delivery and execution of Samsung’s upcoming AI (Artificial Intelligence) on Galaxy S8 ”
So this just confirms that the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S8 is coming with it’s own AI which will be known as Samsung Bixby.
