Razor acquires Nextbit, there company behind the cloud-first smartphone ‘Nextbit Robin’

Online lifestyle brand Razor has now officially announced the acquisition of Nextbit, the company which made world’s first cloud focused smartphone. The first smartphone from Nextbit was called the Nextbit Robin.

Razor has acquired Nextbit Systems Inc. but Nextbit will work as a standalone unit. The company will not merge it with Razor brand. Nextbit will stop the further sales of Nextbit Robin and any accessories on it’s official online channel.  The sales will be stopped but software support will be available till February 2018 as promised.
