Xiaomi has started the official roll out for the Redmi Note 4 4G smartphone in India. Coming in as v8.5.4.0.NCFMIED, the update is now available for download and carries a size of around 1.3GB approximately.
Launched back in January this year, the smartphone has managed to gather around 5 million happy customers and as such becomes the #1 selling-smartphone in India. The smartphone came pre-installed with Android 6.0 Marshmallow and during the launch, Mi India also announced Android Nougat update for the smartphone.
Well, it has been quite a few months for stable ROM to hit the device and finally, the wait is over! Do keep in mind, you will not get MIUI 9 but the software version stays on MIUI 8. On the other hand, it is good to enjoy the latest security features that come bundled with Android Nougat and on that note, it brings a slight satisfaction.
