Samsung Galaxy J7(2017) gets Wi-Fi certification

Earlier in February we reported about a new Samsung Galaxy J7 smartphone being leaked online. A variant of Samsung Galaxy J7 (2017) with 5.5-inch HD display and Snapdragon 425 chipset was spotted on GFXBENCH. FCC certification was already cleared by the Samsung Galaxy J7 (2017).

Nowthe Samsung Galaxy J7(2017) with model number SM-J730FM/DS has been spotted visiting Wi-Fi alliance. This simply means that the 2017 version of Samsung Galaxy J7 has already passed the Wi-Fi certification and is a step closer to official launch. This time we have got the dual sim variant of Samsung Galaxy J7 (2017) on the Wi-Fi certification. One interesting change is there in the Wi-Fi alliance’ listing and GFXBENCH listing. The GFXBENCH listing had shown it with Android Marshmallow while the Wi-Fi listing shows Android Nougat 7.0 .
