Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+ is now getting October security patch

After pushing the October security patches to the Galaxy S7 series and Galaxy J3 of 2017, Samsung is now seeding the same update to the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+.

The October security patch is headed to Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+ in various markets. The update is headed to Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+ devices in UAE, Iran, Egypt, and South Africa and Western awaits Asia. The software firmware version G928CXXS3CQJ3.is headed to Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+ . The update brings fixes for 215 vulnerabilities found in Google’s Android OS and 6 issues found in Samsung’s own software.
