Samsung Galaxy S8 rumored to have Dual-Camera, 8 MP FFC & Iris Scanner

Samsung just launched its latest Flagship smartphone Galaxy Note 7 and it carried same camera module (Read our Note 7 vs Galaxy 7 camera comparison) that does its work on Galaxy S7. But now Apple is supposed to launch iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus in the market soon. iPhone 7 Plus is supposed to sport a rear Dual-Camera. So it is quite obvious that Dual-Camera setup is on the wishlist of Samsung fans now.

If a rumor originating in China has to be taken into account Samsung Galaxy S8 will sport a rear Dual-Camera. It will come with a 13 MP secondary sensor while the main camera module will still remain at 12 MP. The camera module will be Samsung’s own ” S5K2L2″ model.

The front shooter is also supposed to grow to 8 MP sensor. Since Galaxy Note 7 was the first Samsung smartphone to boast of an Iris scanner, Galaxy S8 will bring it too.

The same account that posted this rumor has also talked about a 4K display for Galaxy S8 earlier. So, if the rumors are to be taken into account here is how some of the Samsung Galaxy S8 major specs will look like.

Samsung Galaxy S8 Specs & Features:

  • 5.1-inch, QHD / 4K display with Corning Gorilla Glass 5
  • 6 GB RAM
