Samsung launches the AADHAR-ready Galaxy Tab Iris with iris recognition

Samsung India has sent out a teaser that they will be launching a new device on 25th device which will be a device from the ‘Make in India’ initiative.

Now today the company has launched a new device in India called the Samsung Galaxy tab iris. It is totally a Indian made device.  Hardware specs include a 7-inch display with 1024x600p resolution. It is also having a quad-core processor. There is 1.5GB of RAM & 8GB of internal storage. The Samsung Galacy iris is having 5MP rear camera with iris scanner. On the front we have 2MP camera. There is 3600mAh battery inside it. Connectivity options include WiFi, Bluetooth 4.1, USB 2.0.

The Samsung Galaxy tab iris is released in India for Rs. 13499 which seem sot be a little costly. the tablet is said to be used for AADHAR documentation in India.
