Microsoft is now focusing on mobile platforms. So the company recently announced the new feature group video calling for the mobile users . Now again Skype has pushed new features in android version of their app with an update.

Schedule a call with friends and family
Scheduling video calls are available already with outlook , but in this latest update we can schedule calls with Outlook from Skype. Tap on the person you want to plan a call with, then tap the menu on the upper right to select ‘Schedule a call.’ You can also use another calendar app if you prefer. Create an event and send out the invite. Simple!
- Open Microsoft Office documents, presentations and spreadsheets
Another new feature is that we can easily open Word documents, PowerPoint presentations and Excel spreadsheets that you receive in 1:1 and group chats. When you receive a Office document, simply tap on it, it will open respective office apps , no additional steps required. If you do not have Office apps installed on your Android phone it will show you the instructions for download them. This feature will helps to save more time.
