US based network provider Verizon Wireless has now released a new update to some of the devices on it’s network. The major update coming is headed to Asus Zenpad 10.
The Asus Zenpad 10 on Verizon Wireless is now getting the Android Nougat update. The update brings software firmware version 5.4.4 for the Asus Zenpad 10. This update brings Android Nougat 7.0 to the Asus Zenpad 10. The update brings some very important and noteworthy changes with Android Nougat. The update also bring August 2017 security patches tot he Asus Zenpad 10.

Multi-window mode:
Multitasking has never been easier; you can split the screen to view 2 apps at the same time with Multi-window mode. The image below shows the browser open in the top window and the Calendar app in the bottom
Quickly switch between apps:
Double tap Overview (Recent Apps) to switch between the current app on your screen and your most recently used app. Double tap Overview again to go back to your original app.
Notification Settings:
Now you can easily change an app’s notification settings right from the notification panel.
Quick settings you can customize:
Android now supports multiple pages of quick settings in the notification panel. You can add, remove, and re-order them however you like.
Improved settings navigation:
There’s a new side panel for quick access to Settings, so you don’t need to hit the back key repeatedly. Just swipe left to right, anywhere in Settings.
Data Saver:
Data Saver can help you manage your data usage by restricting background apps from using data.
To turn on Data Saver:
- Tap Settings.
- Tap Data usage.
- Tap Data Saver.
- Slide or tap On.
You’ve successfully turned on Data Saver.
Enhanced Doze mode:
Doze mode has been enhanced to optimize your battery anytime your screen is off, even when you’re moving. Previously Doze mode was limited to times when your tablet was stationary.
