WhatsApp has been testing the video calling feature in their Android app from long.  But the testing was only available to those who are a beta tester for the company.

Now th video calling feature has been released to public starting from today. WhatsApp already have features like messaging, group chat, documents and media sharing & much more. To make the app more useful, the company has now added thr video calling feature to its app. Thr company has given a nice explanation of why WhatsApp video calling was important. It says, ” We’re introducing this feature because we know that sometimes voice and text just aren’t enough. There’s no substitute for watching your grandchild take her first steps, or seeing your daughter’s face while she’s studying abroad. And we want to make these features available to everyone, not just those who can afford the most expensive new phones or live in countries with the best cellular networks.

With WhatsApp video calling, users will get much more from this app. This will create problem for apps like Skype,
