WhatsApp is currently most widely used social messaging app in the world. The app is available on all the major operating systems like Android, iOS and windows OS.
Now a new update is being rolled out to WhatsApp for Android. The update is headed to beta version of the app. The app version after this update becomes 2.17.307 on Android. It brings some innovative new features to the platform. The major changes are coming out status. In the ‘Status‘ section you can see your profile picture with ‘+’ icon that lets you add a new status.
In the bottom-right, you get two options. One is for photo status and the other one is for text based status. The text status is something unique and interesting for now. It lets you type text status in different colors and with different backgrounds as well. You can also choose different emojis and font style.
