There have been many rumours and leaks that appeared online for Mi 5. Xiaomi confirms Mi 5 to have Snapdragon 820, to be released after China’s Spring festival
The confirmation came from the company’s co-founder and Senior VP Liwan Jiang on Webio post.
Xiaomi also revealed that company has just started mass production of Mi 5 to fulfill the demand, when it launches.
Xiaomi CEO also revealed that he has been using smartphone quite sometime. He also quoted that, “worth waiting for.”

- 5.2-inch display with 1080p
- 3GB/32GB and 4GB/64GB two variants
- 16MP/13MP camera combo
- 3,600 mAh battery
- Android 6.0 Marshmallow
Mi 5 will come with world’s smallest fingerprint Scanner on home button as well.
