After many news & rumors, the Xiaomi Redmi 3 is now made official by the company.As we have earlier reported about it’s specifications, the phone is equipped with a 5 inch HD(720x1280p) display .According to the teasers, the phone was scheduled to go official on 12th January but this was a surprise move from the company by launching it before the scheduled date.The budget smartphone from the company is having metal body & with some diamond pattern on the back which looks nice. As we have earlier reported about processor in the phone is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 616 SOC which is an Octa-Core one. The phone is having 2GB of RAM along with 16GB of internal storage which is expandable upto 128GB with a Micro SD card.
It has a 13MP camera on the back with aperture of f/2.0 and PDAF which lets you focus in just 0.1 seconds. It has a 5MP camera on the front for selfies & video chatting etc. It has a hybrid dual SIM slot.

The Redmi 3 is releases in China. It will be available for CNY699 starting 12th January that is tomorrow. It is available in 3 colors Gold, Silver & Dark Grey.
