Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 was launched with Android Lollipop 5.1 based on MIUI 7.
The company has now released the global beta rom MIUI 8 global developer ROM based on Android Marshmallow. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 with Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 variant has only got the Marshmallow based MIUI.
