YouTube app shows new features for some in Google’s A/B testing

Today Google started rolling out an update to its YouTube Android app. According to the reports, YouTube app Adds new recording Icon & improved user interface as well. It seems that Google is doing A/B testing for YouTube app due to which users have different features on their apps with same versions. As this update is rolling out in stages ,so you will not able to update app with latest update need to be patience as well.

According to the report ,in latest update you can see visual changes in the video icon replaces by generic file icon on floating action button(FAB) in home tab.

The new video icon tab will be seen in account tab as well. By clicking on video icon you can also upload videos, but with the latest UI update you can now browse specific file and folder via Android file picker as well. So for some users is introducing a new icon for the floating action button (FAB) and an entirely new screen for uploading content to YouTube.
